I do believe the most valuable quality of any bike, especially if it already got 100 bhp, is handling.
Once you have that amount of power, the best improvement in a bike is to feel secure while the bike is on its ear in a bend. Get it to give you confidence in the corners, then overall its quicker.
Power only really matters on long straight roads, we all know this. The fun on a bike is to be had in that technical, tight, twisty road, getting each apex right, and being confident in the grip underneath you. Confidence = speed.
Good to have a twin roar, I'm the first to admit that, but chasing an extra 2 horses is ( in my opinion ) a waste of time.
When I dynoed my bike yesterday, if they'd said 103bph, but perfect fueling, i'd have been content. Bonus it showed 112.
Now i'll wait for Kev to take the piss
