Post by agentpineapple »

after looking thru ebay this morning, i noticed an old mille front wheel seems to have a very similar hub to the honda item, i was wondering if anyone had done any investigating to see if it would fit, heres some pics to show you what i mean

i doubt very much the rear would fit, but i like the look of the 5 spoke front together with the 6 spoke blade rear......

Anything is possible .
New spacers , Millie discs , space your calipers accordingly .

I'm looking in to fitting a 929/954 back wheel and it looks like its only bearings and spacers that need changed

I have a Mille front wheel in my 996 front end, can't remember if I had to do anything extra to make it fit since its that long ago.

Ok so I hear you saying what good is that to me since you are running Brembo brakes from the 996 too, well if there was no other modifications needed this also opens up Ducati wheels for you.

I remember that you have to machine a wheel bush since both above wheels have a wheel mounted speedo sender unit that is not required on the VTR, unless you want to change the clocks obviously!

Hope this helps
