No they still need a good polish first and I want to do the linkages at the same time as the swingarm has to come off. So they are on hold. I fixed my abbastand ala al style, so it lifts of the engine.

i've seen the rearsets in question and very nice they are too, as carl showed them to me he was like a little school boy, saying MY REARSETS ARE BETTER THAN YOURS.............i had to chuckle.......

I wonder.....if he had spent the £104 for a set of R&G, would it have saved his bike?

I doubt it, the impact was so heavy that it not only done all the clutch casing but bent the plates and basket inwards. I bet the rider was very badly injured if not dead. I think the only thing that would have saved that would be a cage around the engine.

The only real thing to have saved that bike would of been is a better rider .

you tend to find that red/black bikes try to kill themselves, its something to do with the shame of living with that colour scheme.....
