I like looking at the tank though may sound vain but it as taken me ages to get it that shiney.
Tank bag I think i have a cargo one somewhere from years ago i had on my sprint st ill dig it out and and see what it loks like

The only thing with that baglux rucksack it's a separate Orange rain cover to go over it rather than it being made out of waterproof material.

Buster needs a wash, polish and wax.

Pay the money mate, get a Kriega. Can't recommend them enough.I have the R35. If I fill it up to bursting point, within 5 minutes of wearing it I've forgot its there. and I'm not exaggerating, its the absolute dogs. I've got other Kriega stuff to, and its all made superbly. 10 year guarantee, but I think it'll last 20.

Just a quick input from the sane side of my brain...

If your going down the rucksack route get one with a waist belt, keeps it more stable when making progress.
I only have a cheap one which I cannot remember where it was bought. Does what it says on the tin, but is not M/C specific & the various belts,straps & cords flap about which is a tad annoying, but having said that it's not something I use every time I ride.
If your going to use it a lot (or not depending on how often it's sunny ) go Krieger or similar as they are designed for purpose.

In a later post you mentioned dogs ears. Please tell me they are not the stick to the helmet type things ?

They will flap about in the wind & bug the crap out of you & make your helmet unstable.

Please Please Please do not use them you WILL look like a tw@ & bring shame to all Storm owners. Cage drivers will probably still not see you but if they do they will just laugh & most likely still pull out in front of you or hold you up & make no effort to get out of your way.

Oh yeah been using a mag tank bag for years highly recommended. If your worried about scratching your highly polished tank, put a clean soft cloth under the bag, mags will still hold it. Never put it down on the road as the mags will pick up bits of metal, you can guess the rest, & finally you mentioned not liking tank bags as you like to look at your tank being all shiny...I take it that this ogling of tank is only done whilst stationary !

I was wondering what the dog ears thing was about. I just thought it was a typo.

Good advice regarding the strap, they do make a difference. I just use and old Berghause Bullfrog rucksack that can expand from a 30L to 50L via a couple of clips on the side that when popped expand flaps to make the content area larger. It has a waist strap and it also has like a lace up system built around the bag which when tightened Holds all the contents (no matter how full) snugly by wrapping itself around the main content area.
