Have a look on google (other search engines are available) for "Exped Cloudburst" I use a 25 litre one for commuting. It's a roll top dry bag with straps and nothing flaps about. Its a good size to get plenty of lunch in , and keeps everything dry. If you want a bomb proof one a company called Ortlieb make heavy duty ones.

I have the laptop bag too which clips inside.

Pay the money mate, get a Kriega. Can't recommend them enough.I have the R35. If I fill it up to bursting point, within 5 minutes of wearing it I've forgot its there. and I'm not exaggerating, its the absolute dogs. I've got other Kriega stuff to, and its all made superbly. 10 year guarantee, but I think it'll last 20.

This, all day. Kreiga's worth the money!

And for me.
R35, you can still climb off the bike, it's comfy, doesn't give you back ache even after a whole day's riding across Europe to Valencia.

Robust, I can't think how you'd damage one, and mine had a back protector built in.
