It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I don't mean to offend but you managed to rip off his wing mirror after getting up but not make a note of the registration? Regardless of the incident with the mirror (claim your body did the damage) ring the police tell them you have been a victim in a hit and run

I would but really can't be ass
Minor damage to bike and am still alive.
Last thing I was thinking is getting his reg number
Plus holding up main road

wombles the other people they can wait, sure they would have just seen what happened so would symperthise with you.
I would still recommend you ring the police, next time this guy hits someone else they might not be able to walk away, not stopping at the scene of an accident is taken seriously by the police, some one else might have already contacted them so they could collate your information and get this guy in.
Also cover your self as you may get a knock on the door for criminal damage, he might have got home rang the boys and said some biker has ripped my wing mirror off here is his re details etc etc, you will say well he run me over officer and they will say you haven't reported it Sir?

That could backfire as you either admitting guilt then or bringing it to they attention.

Hope you not to badly bruised and the bike's OK. some people are just total wanxxxxrs. I still haven't heard anything from the old bill over my incident and I got the reg :eek2 They are a bunch of wanxxxxrs too. I suppose it's the luck of the draw. It may help informing them or it may not.
