Wires to brake light? Helllllp!
Wires to brake light? Helllllp!
OK got 2 black wires running from under the tank. Got 3 wires running from the brake light, one is white, one is brown, one is green. What wires to where? I'm flummoxed LOL.

Re: Wires to brake light? Helllllp!
if you cant get it to load try section 20 of the manual in the workshop
Re: Wires to brake light? Helllllp!
No manual as I've loaned it.
The linkage is under the seat between the brake light and brake lever/pedal so rear light working fine. Brown is live. If I touch the brown (live) wire to the green wire, the brake light is permanently on. However I've tried all sorts of combinations but can't get it so brake light is off but on when I apply brake lever/pedal. Evidently some combination of the 3 brake wires fit to the 2 black wires.

To the brake light switch (two black wires) you want green/yellow to one
And white/green to the other one .

And white/green to the other one .

Re: Wires to brake light? Helllllp!
These are the wires on link below. 2 blak wires bottom left of pic and the 3 coloured ones at top. The 3 coloured ones connect in some combination to the 2 black wires.

Re: Wires to brake light? Helllllp!
the brown wire is just for the tail light , so for get that one for now ...
connect the white to a black and the green/yellow to the other .
see if that works if now swap them the other way to the blacks .
but leave the brown alone for now .

Re: Wires to brake light? Helllllp!
Brown is NOT the tail light. Brown wire is disconnected and tail light works fine so it's not the tail light.
Tried connecting the white to a black and the green/yellow to the other black...Nothing!
Tried connecting brown to green/yellow, brake light always on.
Tried brown and the green yellow to one black wire and white to other black, nothing.

At the bottom of the twin bullet connector (now missing), the 2 black wires fitted seperately into each bullet. The 3 coloured wires fitted into the top of the two bullets. But wich ones where?
