Jesus, Geo, it's only a bike, go and thrash it.

What's the worst that can happen?
If you sh1t yourself, don't video it , though.

Get on, twist the throttle, go somewhere, come back again. Hose it down if you must, otherwise go for another one.

If you pussyfoot around, it'll build up to something you don't want to ride.
get out there.......
if the battery's unwell, just fill it with juice and don't turn it off until you're back home empty.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I can't wait to get out on it. The power just on the little run (before running out of fuel) was awesome. Just waiting for the starter solenoid to turn up and I'll be out

It has a brand new battery in it now :)

Bored of waiting I just popped into the garage and did a "screw driver across the solenoid" test and Boom!!! she fired into life. :D :cool2  8)

I is sh1t with this stuff and am at risk of looking even more stupid than I already am but, is the starter solenoid used for anything else other then, well, starting the bike? I mean, once I get her started, can i then ride the fook out of her?

if all the electrics and lights come on ok then go for it mate. all it does is when you turn the key it operates the solenoid coil and switches the live to the big red cable to the starter instead of the little red one, otherwise it torches the loom.

just take the screwy with you :)

Everything works fine. Its a bitch to take the seat off though so I'll try and move the solenoid to be easier to access.

I'll piss about tomorrow morning. I'm out in the afternoon. Sunday though might just be tuono day

Camera is on charge mate. If I get a chance, I'll be straight out on it tomorrow. It'll probably be Sunday.

Time to upgrade my Green Flag to full recovery me thinks. It only covers me for 10 miles. One of the downsides of going Italian I guess. hehe

always a wise move on a new aquisition mate.
have a google and get a month's cover maybe.

i can recommend autonet  you get full rac cover for 1/3 the price of full rac cover, but for one vehicle only.
cost me £39 for the full package for a year. came in handy when my chain broke in wales with only 6hrs cover left lol!
