Hey man, welcome to the world where separation in the form of 90 odd degrees is just heaven. I'm four months split, but have had the Storm for four years or so. One had to go, no hesitation. :D

I have found white wine is a double edged sword, as when you first meet the future Mrsxxx, you like them to drink wine as it brings out the fun side so you can get into their pants :o , but once you are married to them the wine brings out the other mood and exaggerates the bad traits.
I find the double edged sword idea interesting, also, have you noticed the window of oporunity around 2 or 2.5 glasses into the bottle, where you get around 15 to 20 mins to make a move before the, "you dont love me, you only love your bike, get off, kicks in" at which point i leave her to it :whatever

that is a good observation Steve, there is a tipping point like you say.....I will update my research thesis

only solution I have found is ban white wine and make them drink pints of beer, then the whole process becomes nice and linear and no tipping point [they can even walk home!]. Problem solved

Ha, Ha Ha.
You've just made me smile for the first time this week. 14hr shift Monday including driving down to that hole that is Stone, (sorry to any folks that bide there), a full shift there then travel back up to the blessed land (2am).
Last 3 days been packing my worldly goods into boxes.. Anyhow, removal men were round at 6.30 this morning and I'm all out- House sold officially at 3pm and I'm downsized with a nice wedge thats getting blown over the next few months- She can whistle in the wind if she thinks she will be seeing any of it.
Was pipped at the post by 8hrs for getting Bobthebuilders SP1, he's an honest gent and let the first caller have first refusal. So am a huntin again....
Welcome to the mad house as they say- pitty its the wrong time of year to get back on the sadle but gives you time to get all the esentials done.

I'm now goin out
Don't hassle me

or perhaps my many years of study into the effects of white wine on the female brain is shown to be true. for example:
I have found white wine is a double edged sword, as when you first meet the future Mrsxxx, you like them to drink wine as it brings out the fun side so you can get into their pants :o , but once you are married to them the wine brings out the other mood and exaggerates the bad traits.

So gents am I right or am I wrong?
You're right on the money, honey.
you are spot on, the older they get the less they should drink. my missus is kin evil when she has been drinking. several mates at work report the same thing. if I moan about she justs necks more

Thanks everyone. Picked the VTR up on Saturday....Awesome power, love it. Its had a lady owner for last 6yrs, she's not ridden it since 04-2011 but couldn't bear to sell it, she was nearly crying when I took it and went inside her house because she couldn't watch me ride off!!! It has got Remus (not for road use) cans on it and full stainless pipes. Is it worth me buffing the "not for road use" off the exhausts? It is really feint, or will it be ok to leave it?

With the marking on there it wont pass an MOT unless they turn a bind eye or if you get a tug the old bill wont like it.
