Re: lloydie's vtr (kermit)
I have a carbon one the same shape made by Harris but its damaged :-( .
And try and find one in good condition ... It ain't going to happen .
I don't really want to chop this one up as they are very hard to find :-(

Please only accept this as an atempt to be constructive and its only my thoughts but, the front gaurd is to big compared to the minimalistic style of the rest of the bike, a smaller one may suit better, as for colour i would try black with a green tip that follows the curve at the front of the gaurd for a few inch either side of centrelloydiecbr wrote:im open to suggestionsAMCQ46 wrote:Looking good lloydie, need something on the mudguard and hugger to bring in the theme of green![]()

Re: lloydie's vtr (kermit)
Black full size fairing lower with some white sponsor logos would balance it out nicely

Re: lloydie's vtr (kermit)
im on the look out for a standard 92 blade carbon or plastic front mud guard
but in the mean time how about a v2 decal on either side at the front (the v in white and the 2 in green ?
above all else i dont want to over do it , keep it simple
im not putting the lower fairing back on tho it looked good

This is what i love about this site a chance to be personal without being offensive

My view on the vtr is that it needs to be minimalistic / uncovered, its how it was developed to be, i would buy a different bike if i wanted it fully faired, to me it does not seem right covering a bike up but i can understand people de fairing them

i have to agree with you there but you do need a clean engine to pull if off .lanny wrote:My view on the vtr is that it needs to be minimalistic / uncovered, its how it was developed to be, i would buy a different bike if i wanted it fully faired, to me it does not seem right covering a bike up but i can understand people de fairing themcybercarl wrote:Black full size fairing lower with some white sponsor logos would balance it out nicely![]()

Dont do the V2 decal it will ruin the clean looks. Keep it classy and pure like Ducati's, VFR's, etc - They dont need the garish shell suit looks of other bikes to look superb. to add these you need to go the full race rep route for it to looki balanced. Just my opinion thoughlloydiecbr wrote:im on the look out for a standard 92 blade carbon or plastic front mud guard![]()

See if you can get a vinyl printer to knock one up (copy & use the png file) using an inkjet on white vinyl then cut it out and apply with some lacquer for protection.

Front top of mudguard or on the front number board would be good
