Handguards. My latest winter preperation
Re: Handguards. My latest winter preperation
If you want warm hands the best thing you can do is get thin comfy summer gloves, Heated grips and Bars Muffs
the heat from the grips penetrates the thin summer gloves so much better than thick winter ones and in the wind and rain proof muffs the heat stays their
You can get a full set or 100 quid
My oxford hot grips get very hot to a bare hand, put the hand in a decent winter glove and hardly any of the heat penetrates, try it with a thin summer race type glove and it makes a world of difference

But plastic is not 100% breathable or 100% windproof up to 180mph.

No but Gortex is windproof to speeds of 180
But if you add windspeed to the mph you doing going down the motorway it all adds up.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

if you kept 1 slice of bread in the bag i think it would make a good insulation layer for the back of your hand.........
what if you put some butter on the outside of your leathers and then stuck sliced white onto that, would double as insulation and crash protection.....but you would be chased by seaguls

school boy error that mate, bread is only windproof upto 4mph and water proof up to a teaspoon, so you have to butter BOTH sides and put it inside your leathers for it to take any effect

Re: Handguards. My latest winter preperation
Some people around here could also use that to help get leathers ono you have to butter BOTH sides and put it inside your leathers

if you go a stage further by adding a filling of you choice to the buttered bread and then lodge them under your pits, you can arrive safe and warm at your destination with a ready prepared hot meal, genuis

How about pittas? Made to slip a cold hand into, surely?
If you get them from the kebab shop fresh each day, mind the salad, though, it' a bit slippery,

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
