Just been out mate, lovely!! Here's a little conundrum for you. My 19l tank Storm has had the low fuel warning bar flashing for about 5 miles, got out on the bike taoday and my local garage had a queue out of the gates so took a chance. Did my normal route over to St Evenage which is about 15 miles and utilised the services of the great Lord Sainsbury to re-fill. With 130 miles on the clock and the bar flashing for over 20 miles the bugger still only took 14.75 litres!
Never mind really nice day and great ride.

Me too!

Wind was no problem, but floods were. Had to turn back twice due to impassable roads but apart from that was great. Just finished washing it. Only one 'moment' when I came across a broad expanse of water and to apply industrial style braking.

We've more rain forecast for tonight, so going to work tomorrow could be a challenge. The main A6 into Loughborough is closed due to floods. Might be a push-bike day.

just finnished cleaning mine, all the alloy bits are starting to show corrosion all ready , think i'll just leave them and paint the footpegs etc black next year.

one good thing about all the rain, most of the mud is now off the roads
