Looks like number 38 on here http://www.ronayers.com/Fiche/TypeID/26 ... /FUEL_TANK Is it stuck on the tank filter, otherwise there should be one in the old tap.

Is that for the 19ltrs tank Carl as when I looked on the site I could only see info on 16ltr tanks the one with the on off tap not the screw on spigot like this one

Can't look at that properly as I'm in the bath mate

hi seb, if you look at the bottom of the red filter you will see a small rubber o-ring, this is the number 38 in the ron ayers site, i also have the same pieces as you and there isn't a rubber seal in the fuel spigot, just the o-ring on the bottom of the red filter. i hope this is correct because i have exactly the same parts as you....

Thanks guys just didn't want to get to the stage of fuel up and spring a leak all over the rear header lol

I saw that ring on the filter but wasn't sure if that was supposed to sit inside another as it's very skinny

yup
35 is the same o-ring by the looks of it, it fits on the bottom of the red filter, and fits snuggly into the tank, then you just screw the spigot on, job done. admittedly it looks like a strange setup but it must work, you could always do a dummy run using water maybe...

Having a bigger tank makes so much difference, TBH the one thing that was really killing me with the storm was having to fill up ever 75-80 miles, I dont have to fill up now for 110-120 miles.

the link to ebay don't work any more because the item has been withdrawn. I was jokingly talking about the horrible sp2 that is in marty,s "spoilt sp2" thread. lots of work but the colour is rank
