and

mate has same setup on his bike and it works sound.
neatens up the profile of the bike and you can see a fisheye view behind you including directly behind where theres usually a blind spot.

the camera is waterproof and the display just goes under the screen above the dash, wired to come on with the ignition.

the view is spot on and no vibration like off mirrors, and clear as day in the dark

tbh what can you see in your mirrors at night apart from lights?
these have a little backlight in the camera and work better than mirrors imo with no glare :)

it is a reverse view camera so maybe it does, rather than just a camera...

my cousins got one on his z1000 , its so clear its almost a distraction, guess once you get used to it it would,nt be though. he,s fabricated a little surround for it to keep the viewing screen out of the sunlight
I was impressed with the quality of the image

I like this idea and can only see it improving safety. As benny says at in your mirrors all one can see is the glare of lights anyway. It's got to be far safer to glance down at a scree than to turn your head and move your elbows in and struggle to get a good view in the mirror. This would also be like looking in both mirrors at thr same time rather than looking at one or the other. I would have thought it would be the monitor that flips the image rather than the camera.

Had one of these on my hilux and it did flip the picture. Keeping the lens clean was a pin but great for reversing onto trailers.
Don't hassle me

I like the idea of this - I'd be interested in seeing a picture of the actual view though... how wide is the view? Will it capture everything behind you up to (and beyond?) the area you can see with lifesavers?

I don't think they will make up for lifesavers as you literally see what's to the side of you then, Anyway I don't think lifesavers are a good habit to get out off. I would like to see an image of the view as well before deciding whether I want to get this set up.

I wonder how is the day time view??? With all the glare from sunlight... i suppose it depends on the direction of the sunlight, any feedback?
