Mobile Tyre Fitting.

Post by leevtr »

Right, the time has come.

In the new year my new business is officially up and running ( could start right now, but Xmas next week so new year, new start )

I'll be providing a mobile motorcycle tyre supply & fit service. As you can appreciate I can't travel all over the country and stay competitive, but having looked at my trade account prices, I will be able to match pretty much anyone in London area, and thats me coming to you. However, I'll happily travel a bit further afield if I can still beat your local dealer, and you sit indoors drinking coffee, watching Jeremy Kyle while I'm at it !!

Before you go to your local dealer, give me a call or contact me via my very basic website.

Cheers fellas.

That's it for the building game then. I wish you luck with your new venture, shame I just got mine, I would much rather chuck a bit business to fellow forum members. What are you doing about wheel balancing. Are going down the old fashioned route and doing it by eye.

Hopefully thats it yep, but not counting my chickens just yet. However, I see no reason why it shouldnt work out, after seeing what the well known dealers charge ( I could've matched your price, although not me coming to you, that would be a bit too tight ). Balancing is not an issue, static is more accurate anyway by miles. Biggest thing was getting a decent compressor, and getting the account open ( they took some convincing ). Done now anyway, hope to earn a living out of something I'm interested in !!

Mate, please check your website, something is wrong... it seems you got another site riding in the background or tagging on the same link, you can hear it comes up few seconds after you get on the website on speakers every time you click on this link. can't actually see it but you can hear someone typing, music and sometimes someone speaks in what it seems Russian, could be a live porn site of sort.... I don't think your potential clients need to hear this  Good luck mate

You are correct line 40 in the source code. But even more worryingly is how it got there. You need to also check the security of your hosting provider as it looks like the account has been hijacked.
You should also check the security on the php mailer script (form2go) as this could be a back door in. TBH as it's being given away free that script is probably not the best written code with security in mind. I have used the one off fee pro version mailer script here in the past http://formtoemail.com/ Have never had any problems with it and it's a very comprehensive setup with many functions. It also has an option of using some of the best captchas on the market.

I wont even mention the structure of your site, cough cough..

Is the site using a provided website template from the host and/or had extra modules installed ? As that could be vector for how the code got there.

Site security is important as bots are also perpetually searching and probing for any vulnerabilities. Also it's on a shared server (sever61) with 736 other websites and if any of them get compromised they can worm their way through all them all placing nasties (phising code etc).
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Best of luck with your new venture

I'm just in the long proccess of starting up a bike shop in Bideford, been working on getting a couple of grants, well i've got one but the other is important for me to get too, i'll be doing tyres as well as the usual servicing ect, no bike sales to start with, will have to see how it goes first. Hoping to get it all sorted and openned by end of Feb, but lots of things need to come together first, mainly the 2nd grant and the unit I'm after still being available.

What trye machine have you got ? as thats something i need to get and the price range is huge.

Nice xmas present to yourself Lee.
Although you are a bit far away from me to fit, maybe you could price for tyres when the time comes and add a price for delivery and people could get them fitted locally. Just a thought.
Hope it all works out.
