I don't have dual terminals but if I did I would make use of them for any ancillary components. There's nothing special about having extra terminals, it just keeps things a little more tidy.

It's the bright yellow ones on ebay; they come with four terminals and very useful they are too.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Added extra's, accessories :) Do be aware that with those Motobatt batteries you wont be able to use the Black battery cover as they are a bit taller. Also it's a good idea to put a strap around them and sit them in place, so you have something to pull them back out with as they are a tight fit.

DIY with a relay and a block connector.

About a quid for the block connector, a fiver for the relay, inline fuse couple of quid (or get a fused relay) - altogether should cost about a tenner.

I made up a distribution block with relays for my TDM so I could run sat nav and other items switched from the sidelight but leave the 12v take off for the phone charger/mattress pump (I don't slum it when camping  )/optimate as a direct to battery item. I have put in an additional relay for running lights too, but not fitted any yet. It wasn't actually that difficult once you get your head around how the relay works and it's only a switch, activated by another electrical item.

When you get it wired up and everything connects through OK it is very satisfying too!
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!
