Spark Plug socket sizes

So there i was in the garage yesterday, got my new chain & sprockets, oil & filter, K&N recharge jollop for the air filter, fluid for my brakes & clutch and last but not least, the spark plugs.

I've got it all lined up with the tools for the day ready with some Red Bull for good measure.

Chain & sprockets, no worries!
Oil & filter, breeze!
Brake & clutch fluid, bit of a pest but to be expected!
Air filter, doddle!
Spark plugs, SPARK PLUGS!!

SODDING SPARKIES!! I've got the right sized plug wrench but its just not long enough to quite get there. It's served me well on the last 4 bikes but Mr Honda had other ideas for this one!

How deep did honda want to seat these little buggers?! Just been out to get a new spark plug wrench so (hopefully) tonight my service will be done!!

Typical, the easiest job was the one that caused the most brain ache!!!

And what's with needing a 12mm wrench but it's actually an 18mm? I don't get it!

It's just to screw with your head It don't make sense to me.

I ended up buying one of those Halfords Blue T handled jobbies.

No tool kit with the bike unfortunatly. It's 16 years old, I'd have been amazed if it did come with one!!

I just got the halfords t-bar thing to.

The tool box is an ever expanding thing! just got new troque wrench and chain splitter! need more storage!!
