reply to Kev, yes, your right. But if you pull out a clear from under your jacket they cannot do nothing, if you dont have a clear they presume you will at some time be driving at night so they do you. Hence the comment about the coppers up our way. good enough for them, good enough for me

Kev L wrote:You're quite right mate they're not legal for road use and will be marked as such on the visor. However I (touch wood!) have never been pulled for riding with a dark visor on. I have used Iridium and dark race visors with no ill effects, however if you get pulled for something else then stuff like small plates and visors are likely to come into the conversation!!
the scorpion dark visors just state "FOR DAY TIME USE ONLY" and in 12 years of using dark visors ive never been pulled. i carry a clear one anyway but still..

OH, and the Scopion helmets are better put together than the shark helmets. i had an S900 and was nowhere near as good a quality IMO.

the AGV is good though. my Girlfriend uses an S4 on her Triumph and its a really nice lid just no inner visor and the graphis arnt as "original". light though.

Perhaps I'm a little biased but anything sized large in AGV fits me like a glove, I have 4 AGV helmets, all 4 feel like old slippers straight out the box

Well I went to a local-ish dealer to try on an AGV just to make sure they're okay, but the shape of them doesn't suit me and presses on my forehead.. As do HJC's and Sharks. May just not get a new helmet at this rate :P I'll try out a scorpion and if that doesn't fit then oh well, I tried

It could just be the model of the helmet, not the make. alot of lid manufacturers shel shapes change throughout the range.

there are so many brands to try though...

KBC
OGK
LASER
NOLAN
ARAI
LS2
HJC
NITRO
BELL

The list goes on. Ive had a couple of KBC's and for the money there bang on lids.
