Mirrors

Post by Golgother »

Hey All

I'm looking for mirrors for my 98 Storm that are longer than standard so I can see past my portly frame.

I have looked at mirror extenders, extending the standard mirrors and bar end mirrors.

Are there any longer mirrors from other bikes that will fit ? If so how much longer ?

Cheers
Matt

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Hey All

Thanks for the replies.

Does the R1 mirror replace the complete Storm mirror assembly or is a part used ?

its the 1998/9 model year R1. however the mirrors in the photo are od 2000-2003 vintage. same spacing but longer stalks then the earlier version due to a smaller fairing.

I'm sold. they look bang on. Do they give a much better view?

I'm sick of being paranoid looking for the blue flashing buggers!!

They do give a better view if you have clip ons but having renthals counteract any advantage as you have a wider stance on the bars .
