I have never come across any bears (they are hibernating at that time of the year) but I have encountered bison on the trail (big "mo-fos"!)

If you want to see more sledding pics, look up my buddy`s site (his address is in the signature on the pics; he is a co-worker and the official photographer of our magazine). The Snow Shoot is an annual event so there are numerous pics (some air shorts, you name it, it`s in there).

cheers

Indeed it is me. The ones with the orange helmet were in March 2012, the ones with the red helmet were March 2011.

If they look like promo shots, it`s because our aim in taking pics during the event is precisely to build up a bank of shots to be used in our magazine (of which I am technical editor and responsible for writing all the new sled evaluations and technological information). FYI, we have over 1200 shots from March 2012 alone. There are two other test riders who attend with me, along with our photographer (who obviously is on the other side of the lens)....

Here is a link to many older tech articles I wrote (some of teh ones listed were written by my predecessor or by Kevin Cameron, he of Cycle World fame, whom I had commissioned to write some stuff for us).....

BTW, if you want to see my face, have a look at the article on the AD Boivin Snowhawk (a snowbike), there is a short test report at the end with my pic.....

Enjoy!

P.S. If you choose not to believe, that is fine too. It`s a free country and I have nothing to prove to you or anyone else.....

I have been thinking and realized that my participation in this thread has essentially been a case of thread-jacking. So, I want to offer an apology to the OP and other participants....
