Has anyone had any experience using Plastidip (http://www.plastidip.co.uk), a spray on rubberised coating that you can spray on most surfaces and give a hard wearing rubberized look that with some effort can peel off when you want a change.

the bloke who had my VTR prior to me polished the wheel rims and i hate it! just thought it would an alternative to powder coating or more polishing with the benefit of being able to change colour with ease.

Seems good and at about £10 probably worth a pop

i watched a usa youtube clip on how to spray a car with it, it looked esay enough, they do a brushed steel look which is pretty smart, but like anything it isn't until you get close enough to see any imperfections, also your body rubs against parts of the bikes bodywork and i doubt it would stand up to it, they also did the alloy wheels on the car in that clip, i'll try and find the link.

I've watched all the YouTube clips from various people some on cars others on bikes.

im gonna black my wheels to start with and take it from there. if its any good my go further. i quite like the matt blue!

Glow in the dark plasticote looks interesting

Just make sure you keep an eye on it. If corrosion starts you may miss it

Been using similar stuff on Superyacht paint jobs for years

at least with this stuff you can just peel it off and start again with relative ease.
