Undertray Indicators

Post by turbo_billy »

Hi all, question for any of you out there that have fitted a similar aftermarket undertray to their bikes. I have a new undertray, same as the one pictured below, that will be fitted to the SP project. I want to fit "cats eye" indicators into the two recesses by the rear light holes. Approximate size of the slots are 50mm x 16mm. I`ve had a trawl through ebay but without much success, so wondered if anyone who has done this can let me know what they used and where they got them from.
Cheers in advance.

That will look so cool. Just a thought, but have you had a look through the Ducati parts department. A few of their bikes have that style indicator. I think they are built in, but there may be loose spares.

Try bitzforbikes or demontweeks.
Usually something in there that will suit projects.
If you found something with stems but the right dimensions you could always remove the stems.

Otherwise, a bit of mesh across the opening and mount an array of LED's behind it. Might have a problem with side visibility, though.
But you could have a single repeater LED fixed into the side- not sure how that would look but worth a think.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
