We all do Carl. Gold is expensive not due to its origin but its chemical properties and looks lovelycybercarl wrote:So the reason they are so expensive is that they came from a supernova. Alien technology![]()
Actually Gold is a very good conductor and doesn't rust. Hence the reason that high end audio cables are Gold plated.![]()

Tony I have just been trawling the net trying to find more info on the Brisk plugs. The general consensus is that they protrude further into the cylinder and one has to be careful which ones they fit. In other words make sure they are designed particularly for one bike.Just bought a pair of the Brisk ones, let's see what they do.
Just something you should be aware of with the high comps as you have less clearance. Have you compared them side by side to the NGK's?Brisk plug by design protrudes further into the cylinder so if you chance yer luck rather than doing some homework and create a gap of less than 3mm from plug end to piston you will get an arc over to the piston which causes the burn
(:-})* spark plug firing tip configuration projects into the combustion chamber for better air/fuel access and ignition.
ALWAYS CHECK FOR SUFFICIENT PISTON CLEARANCE to avoid possible spark plug and/or engine damage.
