Don't mind barbies ,but the venison ,steak, haggis, neaps(that right?)and whisky in that part of Scotland are excellent.used to get taxi to restaurant at gatehouse of fleet ,masons arms Al?great food, gorgeous young waitresses who could ask for more!can not wait to get back up there, the people in kirkudbright are lovely,we had a wooden hut over the bridge turn left ,borgue road I think, looked out over the estuary ,spent many very happy nights sat on the rocks whisky in one hand, cigar in the other.god I miss not going up there once a year.it will feel like going home, did it 6 years running.

Are we having an Op Storm Scottish invasion?

Does this mean we got to wear Kilts instead of leathers.

Re: Biking in SW scotland
He's right, the roads are fab, I lived in D&G for 4 yrs and rode the coastline up to Glencoe and back via Loch Lomond, stunning scenery and great roads made for biking taking in the Isle of Skye on way if you wanted to. I love the roads down here now as live near Brecons and as much as I don't miss the area, the roads are great and view stunning, k'bright is on the coastline and I'm sure his place would be a good stop over and yes, BH defo get molested by some girls there in the past....Or so he says pml... Enjoy the ride guys, and get your seat sorted cos I know for a facr from riding from Wales to D&G it is 400 miles alone! lol..So unless you have a gel seat or an iron man butt, you'll feel like you're riding on breezeblocks lol..
