if you had £4000 to spend

Post by agentpineapple »

hyperthetically if you had 4k to spend, would you lavish the money on your firestorm and riding gear (if so what would you buy?), or you could buy a new bike, possibly an sp1. and then sell your storm and buy some more goodies with the extra cash, what would you do???

I'd go to Sri Lanka for some much needed sunshine for 3 weeks and the rest on building a man-shed-workshop. Anything left over would fill the tank...

Think I'd buy a tank of fuel, and maybe get a chocolate bar with what's left if I can afford it

Sounds like a conversation we where having earlier on.

Sp1 or 2 for me please. Though I would be tempted by a holiday somewhere warm.

i'm just dreaming about an insurance payout....
as i said to carl earlier, i'd love a sp1 or 2, but i don't have a garage and i wouldn't want to keep it outside. i could easily throw a couple of grand at the storm, but i'd never get my money back unless i sold the bling bits seperately, i'd love a full mario navas c/f fairing.... :wonker:
plus a translogic dash, maybe an arai lid, the list goes on and on, ohlins, carbon akra's.........
what would be top of your bling list is money was no object....

I'd get myself a good set of tools .
And a pipe bender and a welder
And some welding lesions .
And a class 1 driving licence :-)

I would spend it on a garage refit with a bike ramp, part washer and mig welder

A custom made 24litre tank for the Storm. Don't need or want any more power. With the remainder - some scuba instruction, scuba holidays and a lot of good champagne with loose women (not the ones on TV btw) :P
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

We could add that to mix with the next Workshop day with Marty funding the food and drinks :P
