Bike respray - Final pictures added
Re: Bike respray...
Are they doing as well all the prep work; removing old decals, sanding and surface prep etc. What and how many coats of primer/undercoat, paint and lacquer are they applying for that cost? Is that including the tank as well as for the plastics - As that's a very cheap quote for a complete respray inc graphics.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Re: Bike respray...
if its that cheap mate you have had a right result

If sh1t were money you would be worth a fortune
Re: Bike respray...
It's all the prep work on the plastics and tank, fitting of decals. So many coats of laquere over the stickers it will be one smooth surface. I know the bloke who knows the painter and he did my mates bike which I have seen and that was top work. The bloke painting it takes great pride in his work and won't let it come out the shop unless its right.

as long as they dont do it green lol
Re: Bike respray...
Haha. Well my mates cost him 200quid but he did have to get his fairing repaired as he broke it putting the end result back on the bike so he had an extra cost. Got to get final price from the decal shop but he said 50-60quic fitted when I spoke to him the other day. So 200-210quid for a new coat of paint and stickers

Good luck with it and I can't wait to see it finished .
Once they are done dont fit them for a week or to and leave them in the warm to harden off .
Mine are still a little soft due to the cold !

Re: Bike respray...
Today I got the bike stripped. Everything off and in the back of the car ready to go to the paint shop. Really looking forward to it and can not wait to get it finished. Just like a child at Christmas

Re: Bike respray...
Picking the panels and tank up tomorrow from the spray shop. May be a slight increase in price as it took ages to prep the belly pan. Must be what its made of. Really looking forward to it. I shall get picks up tomorrow when it is re assembled so you all can see. Hopefully get the stickers done on Monday weather depending.
