What's the paint code for sun yellow for a storm?
Does anyone know the colour paint code for a yellow storm. There's 2 types of yellow. One is called pearl summat or other and one is called sun summat or other. It's the 'sun' one I'm after. Anyone knows a good place to buy it? I just need a bit of touch up.

One is called 'Shining Pearl Yellow'. Well, it's not that one, it's the other one. Called 'sun' something or other!

Copy down the code on the sticker on your subframe under the bike's seat - take that code to a motor factors specialising in auto paint or Halfords, but beware the yellow by its nature (semi-tanslucent) is tricky to match precisely because your paint could have faded and the yellow ideally needs to be specially prepared with undercoat and dark mystic application and finishing. At best you you'll need the whole panel or whatever painted (which still might not match precisely the same overall colour of the bike) or try and feather the paint to the area you're touching up if its not too conspicuous,

They are for the Special Edition Dulux Storm.It's none of them. Are you sure they're for a storm?
Another link for paint codes, but I have never heard of Sun Yellow. Check the sticker on your subframe under the seat. It will have the paint code on it.

Fitted all the plastics and tank myself so no chance of a label on the chassis of the bike. Well, there is, but it'll be a different colour.

Y124P Pearl Shining YellowOn the inside of the fairing panels is moulded COWL L or R FRONT, the part no. and a grid with years and a punched mark next to the year - What year do you have?
If 00, 01 or 02 then you have Y-163P, if 97, 98, 99 you have Y-124P
