Aussie Streetfighters

Post by VTRDark »

Two pages of VTR 1000 Aussie streetfighters, some of these are rather extreme and I have not seen on a VTR before. The first one in the list reminds me of the race bike Steve had nicked. There a cafe racer style which looks pretty good and there's also one that looks very similar to Scubadogs. I wonder if this is where he got his inspiration, It could even be his, but I think Scubadogs has a few more bits done to it.

I'm trying to find ideas and inspiration for a new style tail. I really like Scubadogs Ducati (I think 748) with the built in indicators, that's my favourite by far, but the chances of me finding one at a reasonable price is rare. Also it will severely cut out my underseat storage. I need somewhere to store tools, waterproof over trousers and maybe a small can of chain lube.

It's either something like that or I go down the route of a Mario Nava style with the locker storage area, which I will have to make.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I'm watching that yellow and Black £30 one. There's loads with the rear seat unit. I do frequent ebay.

There's a few great looking bikes in there, but its a tough one to get right. Looks like you can throw a lot of skill, ingenuity and engineering talent at a Storm and still make it look like its been run over. Respect to 'em though - my customising skills got used up fitting the FenderExtender
