Re: Clutch case.
Where are you based, if you can get your clutch case over to me I'll weld it up for ya
Regards the sleeve on your can, how bad is it, I know someone who can supply sleeves at a very reasonable price, or phone the makers of your cans, they'll have spares, drill the rivets out, take the damaged sleeve off, slip new one on, re-rivet, bingo, re-sleeved mine last year, took me about half an hour each

Re: Clutch case.
get a hair dryer or heat gun on your brake pedal, slowly heat up and graduelly bend it back into shape, slowly does it tho, heat/bend heat/bend heat/bend, repaeat this many times but only makes small adustments each time to avoid the pedal snapping.....

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: Clutch case.
I see what you mean about the hanging straps now. Strange that they are made of plastic.

I'm in plymouth cheekykev, where are you based? i've still got my Husqvarna TE 410 I can ride about on. I've bent the brake lever back before, about time I did it again really.
Re: Clutch case.
I’m afraid I’m a bit too far away, based in South East Manchester, if you’re not in any rush I’m sure it wouldn’t cost that much to send it up to me, due to an awkward work shift pattern I would need it for about 7 days, so with postage time you’d be looking at about 10 to 14 days without it.Serlant wrote:I'm in plymouth cheekykev, where are you based?
Without seeing it I can’t really be sure, but going off the picture it looks as though I’ll be able to weld it up, what the hell, if it repairs ok it’s a bonus, if it doesn’t you’ve lost nothing really because it’s no good as it is.
There will be no charge for doing it, you just pay the postage and buy me a pint when/if I ever bump into you, if you want to go ahead PM me.

Many thanks for the offer cheekykev, but I ordered some of those duraweld sticks, and i've got some plate ali cases that were going to be scrapped at work, which will be perfect for making a patch.

I managed to get one from a local breakers in the end £70 to me door it was off a varado but fits just the same

If sh1t were money you would be worth a fortune
Re: Clutch case.
Ok, no problem, just be carefull, Ali melts at a very low temp, you don't get any warning, one minute it's there the next minute it's gone and ends up just a blob on the floorSerlant wrote:Many thanks for the offer cheekykev, but I ordered some of those duraweld sticks, and i've got some plate ali cases that were going to be scrapped at work, which will be perfect for making a patch.

Re: Clutch case.
Water pump?
Four bolts.
Easier to undo when it's bolted to the bike than on the bench.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
