Re: Air horn
looks good but half a second for the loud one to kick in is to long imo, a lot can go wrong in half a second.
Just whack a bloody loud on in and have done with.
I only ever use mine to let people know I'm there so don't need a two stage system, if i think they have't seen me i will blast it, some Richard heads take offence to you blasting a horn but wombles them better safe than sorry.

Re: Air horn
I have a Stebil Nautilaus dual airhorn on the Storm . Neat little compressor under the rear cowl . Have the horns cable tied to the frame . Pretty feckin' loud !!

It's just below the now gone K&N sticker on the frame ... tidy !!

Re: Air horn
you need a fog horn around here and that might not be enough as all the drivers are death dum and blind

Re: Air horn
I agree with this to be honest, if you have half a second to hold down your horn you have half a second you could better use trying to avoid an incident by slowing down/stopping or trying to do an emergency swerve. If you have a loud horn, you have it on a separate switch so that one is normal and the other one can be used in dire situations and to give drivers heart attacksseb421 wrote:looks good but half a second for the loud one to kick in is to long imo, a lot can go wrong in half a second.
