No it won't NHSH. This London we're talking a bout here, It will be more a greyish, dank, overcast kind of funk than the sparkling bright blue sky in your pic.

That's it my thread has been killed for anyone in the future that would like to follow along and put a window in. Mac may as well come back now and join in with some pisstaking.

Your all jealous.

My Gasket and Red and White paint turned up this morning, so I can crack on with working out the clearances and paint my pressure plate next week. I might as well have a look at the advancer while I'm in there and see if there's anything I can do with it :biggrin

As it's the "break" of the ignition trigger spokes as they leave the sensor that creates the spark, you could try just making them thinner by grinding a little off the rear trailing surface of the spokes? Not sure if this will work, but the theory is sound...
You'd need to remove the same amount of material from the rear edge of both of the spokes that create the spark.

I have some spare standard ones if you want to play around.
There are a number of spokes, not just the two that are needed; wonder what the unused ones do?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Game over, I'm afraid.

I've just heard from Blackpool, and apparently this idea breaks their copyright.

Can you get fluorescent wheel spinners for bikes, btw?
I haven't seen the Gatling gun silencers for a while, either....

But I was thinking just to get the spring retainers anodised on mine:

Then I thought: Why weaken the cover by cutting holes in? ANd why make it interesting to watch down by your foot, where you can't see it?
Why not just insert a small camera and rig up a screen by the clocks, so you could watch it go round as you ride? Thrashing cranks and pistons are going to be so much more interesting, surely?
With a bit of ingenuity you could rig it up to a live feed, like they do with the Space Shuttle, or did, anyway.

Just a thought....

Couple of good ideas there Al. Nice bit of stone cladding to give that classy overall look, nice bit of cast iron drain pipe to make up the oil lines and just to give it the final Coronation Street 2 up 2 down terrace look, a nice brick chimney, dual outlet, to replace the exhaust!
