Those two R1 Arata's would have been perfect under the seat with a single sided swingarm conversion.

This was Blobs (?) bike, one of 3 or 4 Storms he owns apparently, taken at GrainStorm last year.

Having just looked at the pic again, I've just noticed someone was wearing sandals with white socks ! :wtf:
I didn't notice this on the day & obviously I'm horrified at this fashion faux pas, which the Fashion Police have been notified of.
This sort of unreasonable non fashion sense gives the rest of us a bad name.
Hopefully whoever it was will do the right thing & keep quite about it, although I will be searching my database to try & out the culprit !

Front calipers removed, stripped down, pistons out, seals out, washed scrubbed and dried, new seal kit, bled, and back on.

Wheel spins much better now :D

I took my carbs off to fit 48 pilot jets but my bike already has them, I have then adjusted the TPS to 500 ohms, fitted long inlet trumpets to both carbs, fitted new iridium spark plugs and a genuine air filter and put the bike back together ready for a ride when this snow has gone.

Well today i tried to take of the rear subframe. Was doing well till the alarm unit wouldn't fit through the wee gap.Tried to take the alarm apart to fit it through but with no luck. The wee gap in question is to the rear of the live battery cable.
So going to take a hack saw to it, for a wee bit modifying once it gets a bit warmer.

Pulled the cam covers off, re-set cam chain tensions, checked plugs, stripped and cleaned carbs and changed main jet sizes, cleaned water vapour from all the breather pipes (non standard, so don't worry). Tomorrow, balance carbs, test ride then onto the dyno.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Snow melted a bit and we had a relatively nice day for a change, took a short ride through back roads and stopped at a hidden waterfall of Charles River for some pictures :)

The Doc' is wondering how we got here :? His specialty is twins :D
