Re: Dyno Dates.
Explanation :
1 / I have lost my licence once already and dont wish to do again
2 / This is a campervan for high days and holidays and occasional
trackday transport , so fuel useage was something we had to think
about as well .
3 / ?? there is no 3 , just the above .
So found myself a one owner car with full subaru service history
new cam-belt , new clutch , 12 months mot , 6 months tax just been
serviced with book all stamped from new with 64,000 genuine miles
not bad for a march 2001 car ... how much ?? £825.00
once the engine and loom are out i`ll be breaking the car and popping
the parts left on EBAY .
I`m getting the wiring loom re-worked by RJES , and they also supply
all the parts that are needed to do the conversion
exhaust , bell housing , electronic assisted steering blah blah etc etc .
Should then be a nice usable vehicle unlike the fuel guzzling gutless
thing it is now .64 bhp and 65mph with a strong wind behind
Nostalgia is great but the reality never lives up to your memories .
We had a T25 years ago and it seemed great at the time but having
had new VW`s its kinda spoilt us i think , so a mix of old and fairly
modern seems like a good mix plus its a tried and tested conversion

Re: Dyno Dates.
bloody typical of you ian, you can't leave anything standard, just aswell mori never made any parts tor the vw t25.....
have you got to upgrade the suspension and brakes because of the extra power? and what top speed are you hoping to get....90+

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: Dyno Dates.
Firstly sorry for thread hijack
ref MORIWAKI :
ive sent them an email to see if they will do me a zero titanium
end can to suit my power output
i wish
although ive doubled my bhp im not doing a brake upgrade yet
but i will later in the year do a disk upgrage at the rear ( drums
at the moment ).
Other than that shell be good to go top speed 100 plus
but shell cruise at 80-90

Sounds perfect, just what you need. Number 3 would be that it's the yin to your yang or is that yang to yin You don't need to race everything.

run outa cash and enthusiasm .
YETI..
PS : I`m in the chuck £1000`s at it catagory but im not pissed off with it
