Sent from Bank A/C so no charges, but strangely it said there would be a 54p charge for a Debit Card.

Why the difference in charges for different people?
It's the charge of the Light brigade. If your bank's staff have left the headquarters' lights on all night by mistake, they charge more the next
day to cover the cost.

lloydie, is it £10 or 15 per bike?

I put £10 in my post about deposits, but I think we should get the full price from everybody rather than a deposit. if it is £15 I will need another £5 off those who were faster than me

It's what northern folk call a bread roll, Marty.

The name changes as you get outside the M25 heading North *- "there be dragons", and strange dialect names for ordinary things.

As Tony said Northern slang for a roll or bap.

Also...

Now you should be up for this Marty, as by definition a 'Cob' is a loaf, so it would be about the same size as one your normal sarnnies.

However I would like to point out that you can get 'Cob's' as in the loaf anywhere in the UK not just outside the M25, I'm surprised you have not heard the term before Marty, being a foodie an all. :Beer Popcorn:

Dyno's scare me. Seen so many engines get wombles while revving their baldrocks off on dyno's.

Mine gets revved just the same out on the road, so it doesn't make a difference as far as I can see.
Maybe not int he top two or three gears, but certainly in 2nd and 3rd.

Many dyno runs for fuelling setup, never a problem.

+1, the engines are designed to run those cycles, and in development they will run them at full load on the dyno to prove they have got the engine reliability right.
the only way you could damage it was if you had been fiddling and had removed the ignition limiter and over reved it, taking components beyond their design limits, or over advanced the ignition and detonated it to bits.

I was at the Anglesey bike show about 6 years ago and the dyno man set up right next to my tent which pissed me off each morning when I was hung over. But it gave me a birds eye view of the dyno all day and quite a few bikes knackered up while on the dyno. The most spectacular one was a ZX10 which went with a right bang and a clank. Felt really sorry for him. The dyno man still charged him which I thought was mean. Passed his bike on the way home, it was on the back of an AA truck. About a dozen bikes did that on the dyno over the bank holiday weekend.

The engine should be fine on the limiter so long as it's sufficiently cooled, take the 954 honda ran it for 24 hours on the limiter and then inspected it and it was all in tolerance, info from one if my books kicking about somewhere.

back tourqe damages your engine more on the road if your racing the bike mate and going down the gears then letting the clutch out than holding it on the limiter as the rear wheel can force the engine to go faster than its set limiter
