what a way to spend your bank holiday...

Post by callam_nffc »

So today the weather looked alright at last so I began to start doing the stopper mod

Got to the point where I had to unwind the CCT and I'm not sure whether it was the tool I made was sh1t or what, but I couldn't seem to unwind it.

Anyway I just gave up and started to put everything back together when I heard one of the cam cover bolts make a bit of a click, turns out I've sheared it and looks like it might have to be drilled out.

Thanks to amcq   and his telephone help I've managed to mask the bolt/rubber down until another can be ordered

Anyway its all back together now, I'm just going to leave it as it is until one of you lot wants paying to do it haha :D :D

If you need a spare bolt I can post one out tomorrow AM 1st class?
PM me if you need one.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

All is done now with a MASSIVE thanks to amcq, I certainly owe you :)

No problem mate, glad to help.

Realy lucky that the broken cam cover bolt came out so easyly, just need to get Tony to send the replacement bolt up to me now to go on my spare engine.

And get your exhausts drilled out, the bike is far too quiet. Do a search on "bafflectomy" or de baffle
