I actually got out for a ride today and again grinned from ear to ear with the torque and the soundtrack :D

Spent some time in the MacCave a fettlin 'Ole Red.

Finally got round to sorting out the weep on the rear CCT, still had some old gasket stuck on the face, got that off & reassembled with gasket goo.

Fitted me Blackbird side stand with the hand crafted extended foot prong.

Gave it a bit of a clean in all those hard to get to areas when it was in bits.

Fitted the HRC throttle tube & junked the return cable.

Boxed it all back up & treated it to a wipe & polish.

I like the modded side stand. I need to fo something about mine, it's a pain in the butt as I can just about get my heel on it and when it's wet it's even worse. Takes my about half dozen times to get it down. :eek2

i have the qat and i to binned the return cable .
this setup makes the throttle a lot lighter and it snaps back faster .
you do need to be careful over bumps as it can lead to looking at the sky .
