I'm bloody trying to but I only commute 8 miles a go the majority of the time. And I can only budget £40 a month for fuel as it's basically all the money I get!! it's not easy on crappy roads with 33bhp... Although that can change soon enough

Thank you. I think I'll take it off October when I no longer live with my dad (and possibly brother by then) to govern me over. I'll keep one in the VTR however, 33bhp on an IL4 is the most stupid idea ever

It's just washers in the carbs that reduce the size of them. If you want I can go take a photo of a restrictor plate that is gonna get stuck into the VTR at some point (and then taken out at some point later  )

Can we use the other thread linked on page one instead of another one with close dates being used again.

It wouldn't be a proper forum if it didn have at least 2 tyre threads

And then we will do CCT's, then what's the best battery, then just to get off VTR topics we will have a ruck over politics. Headlight bulbs, how to check the R/R and carb farts next week

The thing is we are always going to be repeating ourselves as new members come along unless we just post links to previous discussions or search is your friend. Or google site search is an even better friend. In an ideal world discussions would continue on from previous discussions so everything is under one hood but that is just not practical. It's never going to happen. Not everyone has the time to go searching or are not competent in how to use search facilities. Even then it's quicker to get a direct answer than to go searching and reading through old posts.

Did someone call the forum please?

I'm trying my best to hijack it ok? Lol

Yeah I know the sort virt, my cat had them in, they run awful if they're not put in right I think

Also think that the closer the bike is to 33bhp originally the better they run

I dislike them. Well that sounds about right. My mates cb500s has 57 bhp and is quite smooth.. Because my bike (as it's the cb600f rather than the cbf600) has closer to 97... smooth is not the right word.. at all  :(
