Makes me wonder if it's a member on here selling it. One of our registered not get involved type members. Or the seller just keeps and eye on what's going on here. Shame we cant sort of set up a friends usergroup where only those invited can see the posts. Or have a restricted area for those that have post counts of a certain number.

I've said it before and I will say it again, I think the sales and wants section is abused and a minimum of 10 posts is just ridiculous. There may as well be no limit. I would say 100, at least it gives people a chance to vibe them out and get an idea of what kind of person they are. Then we know who we are dealing with.

I do know his name , the area where he lives and his email address .
It would be sinking as low as him if I posted the info on here
so I`m not going to do that .
If an administrator wants the details to see if it is someone
who frequents this site , I would be more than happy to
give them the info I have .
Its funny but this trivial event has actually put the dampers
on the whole VTR thing for me , I`ve loved owning my storms
and being involved in this site and getting to know some of you
but it just takes something like this and i`m thinking I`ll just
take a step back and re-evaluate a few things and put a few
things into perspective .
I will look in on occasion .
It really has been a pleasure to meet some of you guys and
if I can help anyone out I still will but I think I`ll take a small
sabbatical from vtr1000.org .

Easy, it's the first thing I have read this morning and has depressed me I know what you mean though. If I wasn't so highly addicted I would take a step back too. I do wonder sometimes when I'm messing around on here when I could be cracking on with something else. Well, I probably will when Summer arrives.

It gets a bit boring repeating oneself and going over the same old subjects bike related or not. I may just start to participate in the banter soon. But then is would just turn into another Facebook type thing full of crap non detailed comments. So what's the point.

I do think some parts of the forum do need to be re-evaluated as to what is seen by visitors and members under a certain post count, especially the sales and wants section. Just look at how many latest members there are that we don't see post in the welcomes. And then there is just the general privacy/security thing of the Internet in general.
