Non textured mustard   I like the way you have highlighted the high and low oil level markers. And did you take a chip out of it and 5 o clock position.

I put it on hold with all the crap weather we have been getting. I got to get back to it actually, gonna order the Lexan sheet this week. My LED is here and casing is all done, so it just a case of cutting and fitting the Lexan and gluing the LED strip with some heat resistant silicone around the inside, then I have to remove and paint my clutch plate.

I agree Mac, I should have read full post earlier. My colmans is a very bright, almost horrific Storm yellow, colour. Very nice with sausages and beef for me

a little more tinkering today
i've almost finished spraying my rhs fairing, using rattle cans and trying to match the pearlescent blue is a nightmare, also dropped off the last few bits of the scorpion system to duffy, a man of his word, 2 bacon sarnes were thrown in by mr duffy as part of the deal, that man knows how to do business....
the weather looks sh1t tomorrow, so no tinkering with the bike until sunday now..... :(

Mot.
Passed.

How did the bloody bike know it was MOT day?
Taillight packed up Thursday night- broken terminal in the bulb holder bit that screw into the light housing.

As it's an LED type I just soldered on some new connections.

Played with changing main jets, I had tried a 195 front and 200 rear, but the front fouled a plug and wouldn't run properly with the 195, so I changed it for a 190.
Left the rear one at 200.
Dyno'd it, a bit down on power so I'm going wrong somewhere.

I'll try lifting needles two notches to see what happens, as the dyno fuel printout shows very lean up to 4000, then rich thereafter.

But as it's now raining, I'll see how I feel tomorrow. It's perfectly rideable as it is.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Double bubble finally fitted. Needed a little dremel shaving to line up the last fixing point. On the whole pleased with the effect and from the stock version will definitely reduce wind issues. :D

Good isn't it. A whole new experience being able to see behind.

dearkember what's with the great big washers, did you run out of the threaded rubber grommets. I think the iridium screens suit the Blue.

Tony at 4000 is that the well known K&N dip. Is that DJ mains or Keihin. You may find lifting the needles a couple of notches will richen the mains a bit more and will require dropping the mains again or if it was a little lean on top then it could balance it out nicely.

Today I have been rubbing down filler and fibreglass on a new little project I'm doing. All will be revealed shortly.
