Ok so I've just swapped a cbf125 to get my firestorm and all I can say is yes the 125 was good for commuting returning about125mpg but there no fun. Screaming their tits off to reach 65mph isn't the best way to travel. I also have a tzr250 that I'm rebuilding and can't wait to go have a go on it but still don't think it will be as good as the firestorm and I've only ridden it twice. I wait to be proved wrong.

To me a bike is a bike. It doesn't have to have an engine. So long as it has two wheels, I can have fun on it. When I hear people saying that a bike is boring, then you ain't riding it like I would be. I have yet to ride a bike that is "boring".

Choosing the wrong path (route) for the bike you are on can lead to boredom. Riding a 125 a long distance on a motorway is boring, hell riding a firestorm on a motorway for a long distance can be boring. Get it on some twisties and the fun starts.

Choose the right path for whatever bike you are riding, and you should have fun with it

Oh the C90, what a bike!
I had a C70, not quite as quick but it used to go on and on and it got abused all the time, again perfect for round town stuff.

Yes as Geodude says it's horses for courses but my point is just that sometimes it's about fun not big cc's and massive power. Riding a bike / scooter it's just great :)

Those of us with small bikes ought to have a ride out - what a laugh that would be. I know AMQ has a KH100 like me, It would be a laugh to have a 125cc or under ride out (country lanes and B roads of course)

What do you guys think?
small bikes are fiddler.

but scooters are great fun. that's all i have to say about that.
I dont know, I quite liked my ZXR400 still wouldnt mind one now.

My mates RS250 was a great bike, there were a lot of brilliant small litre bikes that in their day were quite quick, I remember when 600 sports bikes were considered big boys bikes.

My mate has an rs250, admittedly Its had a small fortune spent on it, but it easily gives most 600s a a run for their money on the twisties

In all honesty I wouldn't be surprised if it out-handled a vtr, but I'm yet to find out ;)
