Engine oil
Anyone used halfords own brand motorcycle oil for their storm or is it better sticking to brand names

i usually go on ebay and order the oil+filter kit from busters... i don't know if it's true or not but i have been told that they're all the same oil just in different containers...

I tried it and started to get clutch slip [not in normal riding, but poping the front wheel up] after 1000 miles.
went back to castrol semi, and it worked again

Castrol for me, for what it costs why skimp and take any risk possibly not using the best stuff.
My bike ran best with Castrol semi 10w 30
Best smell was from poutoline oils or how ever it's spelt, that used to smell amazing in the CRF450

I used Castrol Power 1
10/40 and put in a K/N oil filter
