Well for the majority of us oversized Brits the rear is too hard and the front is too soft. Here's a Performance bikes recommendation: Rear Preload - Position 2 Rebound - ¼ of a turn out from full, Front Preload - 2nd groove showing Rebound - ¼ of a turn out from full in. But basically you need to experiment and see what feels right for you. You will need a C Spanner to move the rear spring position. There should be one in the Honda toolkit if you have one. The rear position 2 is from the top so the spring is at it's least compressed. and you will see the rebound screw from the right hand side of the bike at the bottom of the shock down my the suspension linkages.

Cheers Carl, no crap with back is still going on, having acupuncture at moment, got specialist in beginning of may. On a good note crap with ex is over and done with, all sorted in last couple of weeks, if you want to know more pm me.
Crap with employer is still on going, going to tribunal now, for breach of contract, discrimination, breach of DDA legislation and equality act. But first hearing for tribunal is next year and, my employer is messing around with my sick pay as in not had any this month so skint!
Rear is set at position 5 and half turn, front is set 5th grove and half turn.
I've readjusted head stock bearings as done them for ball bearings not tapered, going to try loosening front end off and bounce it and tighten it all up as previously suggested.
Is 9 stone a bit light lol or is it just me lmao

That all sounds positive, glad things are looking up for you. If you tightened up for roller bearings and have tapers then that will most certainly be it. The steering must feels well stiff. It may take you a few attempts to get the tapers set right but they literally just need nipping up as soon as you feel some resistance so not tight at all.

That rear is set to stiff IMO. I would have a play with that if I was you.
