Suspension adjustment
Just reading through the paperwork from revolution regarding my suspension upgrade and how to set preload/rebound etc
I figure how its all done etc but ive come across some specifications
0.85kg/mm spring rate
SAE 7.5 Weight oil grade
135mm air gap
is this a specific set up to a certain person or....?
when i have time im gonna get a mate to help me measure/set it all up

Re: Suspension adjustment
The spring should be weighted to the rider .
So should be the sag .
Air gap and dampening is personal choice and some like more and others like less sag .

Re: Suspension adjustment
is it a kit you have bought, or have they built them up for you ?

Re: Suspension adjustment
the upgrade was done last march but for the previous owner, he was a couple of stone lighter than me id say
Im not sure whether to leave it or not tbh as the bike feels pretty sweet how it handles already

try to get a ride on another storm and see what you think to the way that handles as a comparison just to make up your mind

Re: Suspension adjustment
Well 0.854 kg/mm is good for a rider weighing 12st with all their kit on.

Re: Suspension adjustment
Well I'm more like 15 with my kit on easily, the bike doesn't dive heavily or anything though :s

Re: Suspension adjustment
Sayin that if that guide is correct, the difference between a spring for a 12 stone rider and 15 stone rider is about 0.06kgmm, which is very marginal, no wonder it feels absolutely fine
