Blade fork swap

Post by rex »

Got a mate selling some blade forks cheap. think they're of a 96 bike.
I have a 98 Storm. Anybody any info on hassle\expense of a swap? If need to buy loads of new bits then won't bother!

Cheers.

You'll need the Blade yokes and wheel spacers to go with the forks

As the Blade legs are shorter than the Storm ones the forks sit flush with the top yoke. Because of this the standard Storm ones don't fit and you'll need some that mount under the yoke but are raised up so the bars sit in the same position as standard

Storm brakes fit straight on

If you need more pics etc drop me a pm to ben_916_uk@yahoo.co.uk

Many thanks for the help but due to a badly broken wrist (mountain bike!) this project will have to take a back seat. Cheers anyway though.

Have some fun for me!
