sorry to hear that buddy, although i don't know of anyone local, i think i'm right in saying that the orange is not a pearlescent like the blue and yellow, so in that respect it should be easier to put right. was there any cctv footage from a security camera, maybe theres a slim chance the person could be traced.... :(
HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!

Weather is getting better for DIY paint spraying - Do all the prep as described here > http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=26537 , and find the colour code for your bike on the subframe. Finish off with some quality ProXL Ultra Gloss lacquer.

Respray or new fairings? > http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 5&p=229298
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

That's not good. Which panel is it and how bad is the scratch. You may be able to get a way with a touch up pen, polishing it out or both. Any other damage. It's not often that Tango panels come up on ebay or anywhere otherwise that would be an option.

As cybercarl said.. if its a solid colour and only a small or light scratch you may well get away with a touch up and a flat, cut + polish. Can you post a pic?
