Total arseholes comes to mind  All I put was that I'm 18.. Have had my license 6 months and want to ride my storm with modded suspension (and then some...) and some end cans (even though I don't) :(

Isn't there a trade law about false advertisement or something?

You will be best to stick to standard exhaust for a while .

Exhausts didn't affect the premium (or lack of).

I'm looking at exhausts but I won't be fitting any properly and permanently any time soon

I don't understand why the premium is so high anyway... They should be able to tell from my age and license stuff that the bike is only going to 33bhp and surely that should lower it?

Yep, report them to trading standards. But their get out clause will be that they could not give you a quote online hence it says call the specialists. They would then give you a way overpriced quote that you just would not want to bother with.

Insurance companies are all scumbags.

What I mean BVG is that I'll get some exhausts but I won't always have them on. Sometimes I'll have the standards on instead, silencers included. I'm not gonna sellotape them on and hope for the best

I guess so Carl. But still, so gay. Especially since my new place has pushed up the insurance for the VTR by about £160

You finally admit it.

You don't want to be swapping exhausts around, that's madness. Do the bafflectomy to begin with, when you can afford some nice aftermarket cans stick them on. You will have the choice to put the removable baffles in or not. If they don't come with any, then just buy some baffles that fit. I have a feeling the only time you will put the baffles in is when it comes to MOT time. :biggrin
