ground clearance issues?
is this a known thing with storms?
for some odd reason, twice this evening I went to get my left knee down yet both times the pegs just had a good old scrape (including a wobble first time)
I'm much better at getting my right down anyway, but even that didn't come as easily as on my thundercat for example

This and your side stand comment in another thread make me think the bike is sitting too low at the back. When the storm is set up to turn well with a spacer under the top shock mount, the you will be complaining that the side stand is letting the bike lean over too far.
When that is fixed it will also lift the pegs away from the ground more which will help you on ground clearance, but the std pegs have huge hero blobs on them so it is normal for them to touch down if you have it seriously lent over.... But your knee should be touching by then as well

I'm no marquez by any means, but I'm not usually so bad that it makes it feel almost like hard work getting my knee down
that's another mod to the list for after my holiday lol

if you have standard footpegs, try unscrewing the hero blobs from the underside......

Re: ground clearance issues?
I was lead to believe its not an issue of clearance. As to getting the knee down one does not need to tilt the bike over to that extreme but just weight shift the body.

You need some rear sets :-)

Re: ground clearance issues?
For a cheap fix take the pegs off and refit with 954 pegs much slimmer and they don't stick out as far, just sold mine last week tho

Re: ground clearance issues?
Yep, just loosen off the top shock bolt but not take it right off, get someone to lift the rear of the bike up so suspensions drops a bit, slip spacer in, drop bike, tighten bolt. Done.
