Importing from USA

Post by tattie »

Has anyone on here had any experience of importing a bike from the USA?

Are there any restrictions and is it major grief to get a machine registered etc in this country and are there importers that would take care of uplift and crating up etc ?

Any info would be helpful

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

D & K bring crateloads of US bike over. There was an article in Practical Sportsbikes about it but it might be worth contacting them.
Otherwise I'm afraid I haven't ever imported a full machine, only bits.

Thanks Kev L
I might make a few enquiries to see what the crack is from them.
