Just started bike with the new battery

And what a starter it his bikes never started as good even gives it a tickle with out much choke :D :D

Now just to bug you lot at the dales meet on owt else i can thinks off :mrgreen:

Excellent sounds good mate, but just for peace of mind stick a multimeter across the battery terminals with the bike running and give it a rev to make sure the RR is not overcharging. Switch the meter to 20V DC it should be between 13.2 and 14.8V anything over and it's overcharging and will kill the new battery. A dead battery could have been the symptom and not the cause.

yes mr aa man checked that last week it was just below 14 iirc :thumbup:
Have a print out in garage so ill recheck

bloody good batteries ain't they...... :thumbup:
and you can use them straight away, no need to charge them up first. plus extra terminals. for a trickle/smart charger.
if you do the stick coil conversion, the bike is even more eager to start.... :wink:

Or direct feed for Regulator Rectifier rather than have it feeding back through everything else.

Nowt else is getting done now saveing up and getting a hyabussa in a couple of years :D
