Just to let you all know that there is a buyers guide in this months mag, not that a buyers guide is needed with this forum, but its nice to know the old storm is still getting written about!! :D :clap:

great stuff, will be worth a look

I only ever really buy fast bikes, but always grab the bloke at works practical sportsbikes/classic motorcycle mechanics to look at :)

Good read that and they did not once slate the storm!

On the other hand he points out fully synthetic oil should be used :?

I've always used simi myself

Plus it mentions the weak point CCTs and recommends changing them every 15,000 miles or fitting upgraded ones (a bit vague).

Nothing profound or what we don't already know in the article, and in some points it is quite misleading.
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

In recent years the storms had great write ups in most mags and MCN quite a few times it is a very understated bit of kit, I would like another one soon as a seccond bike
